RECRU is an all-in-one hiring solution designed to simplify every step of your selection process, allowing you to focus on what matters most – your candidates.

To provide full functionality, RECRU integrates with third-party applications, including Gmail and Google Calendar. These integrations are optional and can be enabled by the user.

If the Gmail integration is enabled, users can manage their email messages directly within RECRU’s internal email client. Additionally, with the Google Calendar integration, users can fully manage their calendar events within the RECRU platform.

Google Integration

Our app integrates with Google services via the Gmail API and Google Calendar API to allow users to send, receive, and organize emails as well as create, update and delete events in Google Calendar.

Data Collected

• Gmail messages (subject, body, attachments)
• Contact information (email addresses, names)
• Calendar events (subject, body, time)

Purpose

This data is collected solely to enable email and calendar functionality within our app.

Data Security

All data accessed from Google is encrypted using industry-standard methods (AES-256).
Data in transit is secured using HTTPS and TLS.
Access to user data is limited to authorized personnel and secured through multi-factor authentication.
No data is shared with third parties without explicit consent.

User data is stored as long as the user maintains their account with our app.
If a user decides to revoke their Google account permissions or delete their account, their data will be deleted within 30 days.
Users can request data deletion at any time by contacting support or using the in-app settings.

We explicitly affirm that Google Workspace APIs are not utilized for the development, improvement, or training of generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) models. Any data processed through Google Workspace APIs is handled strictly in accordance with our privacy policies and for the specific purposes intended, ensuring that no personal or user data is employed in broader AI or ML initiatives.
